Pause Cloud snapshot

Unisphere uses PowerMax Cloud Mobility functionality to enable you to move snapshots off the storage system and on to the cloud.

About this task

This procedure explains how to pause a cloud snapshot that is currently copying to the cloud:

Steps

  1. Select a storage system.
  2. Select Storage > Storage Groups.
    The Storage Groups list view is displayed.
  3. Select a storage group.
  4. To view the storage group details, click .
  5. In the storage group details view, click the number of Cloud Snapshots.
  6. Select the cloud snapshot that you want to pause.
    The snapshot must be in Protecting state.
  7. Click Pause.
  8. Click OK to confirm.
